A New Day with God

A New Day with God

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
2 Corinthians 5:17  (Amplified Bible)

You are a new creation – that means you don’t have to allow the old things that happened to you to keep affecting your new life in Christ.  You have a new start.  You can have your mind renewed according to the Word of God.  Good things are going to happen to you!

Begin to think positively about your life.  God has a perfect plan for each of us, and it’s important for us to think and speak in agreement with His will and plan for us.

In your quiet time with God, always remember that He has begun a good work in you, and He will bring it to completion (see Philippians 1:6).  So even when you feel discouraged because you are not making fast progress, always remember that God is working in you and He is making all things new.

Even if you don’t have any idea what God’s will is for you at this point, you can begin by thinking in faith, I may not know God’s plan, but I know He loves me.  Whatever He does will be good, and I’ll be blessed.
