Let’s Share The Good News!

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

 The church, the people of God, are charged with sharing the good news that Jesus is the messiah. The messiah was the one who would save them and still saves us, the community, and the world. The people, with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, are what draws people to Jesus and to our assemblies. The beautifully renovated Sanctuary is one way that aids the church people in ministry. I can’t wait to see our folks gathered in blue upholstered chairs for music, prayer, the word proclaimed, and Holy Communion. I imagine more families coming and using the Quiet Room to nurse their babies and to calm their toddlers during worship. I envision blessing couples in marriage and commending individuals back to God at funerals under the sunlight stained-glass. People of Cornerstone, God will use this place and our people to build His church and it will not be overcome. What a glorious message of promise!
 
How do you envision the Sanctuary building will bless people inside and outside the congregation? I am proud to serve and vision alongside you as we enter the Sanctuary! I invite you to pray that our current and returning congregation, ministries, and renters will all grow in the knowledge and love of God.
