Releasing Your Faith

Releasing Your Faith

For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—
2 Corinthians 5:7 (Amplified Bible)

One of the ways to release your faith is to do whatever you believe God is asking you to do, without hesitation.  Obedience is a key to our victory and shows that we have placed our faith in God.

If we are hearers of the Word and not doers, we are deceiving ourselves through reasoning that is contrary to the truth (see James 1:22).  Obedient action is a requirement if we want to see God move in us and through us.

There is no doubt that fear will come, but if you keep moving forward in obedience, it has no way to control you.  Even though fear may be talking to you, that doesn’t mean you have to listen.  Do what God asks you to do, even it you have to do it afraid.

True faith doesn’t have to have all the answers ahead of time – it simply trusts and responds in obedience to the voice of God.
